Let’s Play Culture Poker™!
As part of your organization’s Somebodiness Survey™ debrief, you will play a few rounds of Culture Poker™ using the Somebodiness Survey™ Expansion Pack.
Playing in person is the preferred way to experience the game. However, if your group is joining virtually, we created a simple way for you to play online using pre-dealt hands.
The purpose of Culture Poker™ is to spark honest conversation, surface ideas, and help your team take one meaningful step forward together.
DIRECTIONS
1. The Objective: The objective is understanding — not winning. Listen to each other and explore different perspectives.
2. Confirm Your Group Size: Make sure there are no more than five (5) participants in your breakout room.
3. Choose a Dealer: Pick one person in your breakout room to be the dealer. The dealer assigns each participant a number from 1 to 5.
4. Select Your Hand: Click the button below that matches your assigned number. The cards that appear in a new tab will be your hand for the game.
5. Play Four Rounds Using the Same Cards: You will keep the same hand for all four rounds.

Round 4: One Game Changer for Belonging on Our Team
6. Play One Card Each Round: Each person plays one card per round. When you play your card, briefly share why you chose it.
7. Reflect Together: After all four rounds, talk together about one question: What is the next small step we can take?
