The Somebodiness Scavenger Hunt.
A Team Activity to Spark Connection, Stories and Shared Strengths.
Inclusion starts with knowing the people we work with—not just what they do, but who they are. The Somebodiness Scavenger Hunt is a fun, flexible activity that invites teams to recognize one another’s stories, strengths and lived experiences. It’s not about putting anyone on the spot—it’s about building everyday trust and connection in ways that feel real and human.
You can use these prompts in many ways:
✔️ As icebreakers in meetings
✔️ During onboarding to help new team members connect
✔️ At retreats, learning sessions, or team-building days
✔️ In buddy systems or peer mentoring groups
✔️ Or simply posted on a breakroom board or shared over team chat throughout the week
